Out on the Water

SS Lane Victory - Cabrillo Marina / Hurricane Gulch, San Pedro, July 2012, Lubitel 2, 75mm f4.5, Ilford HP5+ 400 ISO

I went out on the water with the 'rents in their boat. Oddly enough, this was the first time that I remember actually getting sea sick. Too bad I didn't blow chunks. I woulda taken a shot of that too.

I'm glad that I didn't see your blown chunks...if I hadn't already eaten ...I'd be very glad :)

I am too. But I think I would have been more entertained if I did.
Isn't that one of those ships they tried to make invisible back in WWII and sailors got sent through time and liquefied and other cool stuff?...

Oh dude, I know which one you're talking about. I think that is one of my favorite time travel stories

I wonder what it's like to get sea sick.
It doesn't sound fun.
I like the way you darkened up the corners to keep the sky from looking too washed out.

Yeah, it really isn't. It kinda feels like when you are hung over and you aren't sure whether you will be ok or want to throw up. Its a nagging feeling until you hit the docks. I didn't take any motion sickness medication then and I won't again next time I go.

The corners were actually done by my camera. I love that effect, but I've rarely used it since last year. These film shots are all unedited so anything that might look like it is probably a characteristic of the film I use or from the camera. I just got a new one btw. I'm still shooting the test roll though.
