How Do You Fall: Downtown LA

On November 11th, I took a day trip out to Downtown LA. As usual I took my preffered route of driving down to the Metro Green Line station in Norwalk, CA and transferring over to the Blue Line train. This trip was mostly dedicated to the 11-11-11 project, but I also had wanted to eat lunch in Little Tokyo.

The order of the pictures are the timeline of my walk across the dense metropolis. I got off the Blue Line station at Pico station, Cut down 11th Ave and then walked across on Broadway.

This is still probably my most favorite place to take pictures at and seem to find something new to shoot every time. Even walking in the same places I've shot before. I think I should bring my substandard point and shoot next time to switch it up.

Where is your most favorite place that you've taken pictures at?

One last note for today, I made my very first portfolio. I have the best of the best of my shots on there. I would very much appreciate if you'd check it out (Right Here) and let me know what you think, Good or Bad. Have a great week!

Balboa Peninsula

Well, now that the festivities have concluded It's back to business as usual. A couple of weeks ago, a few days after Father's Day, I took a little drive down to Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach, California. I was supposed to go in the evening but I was bored off my rocker and dropped on down in the late afternoon.

If any of you are in the area, there is an incredible body boarding spot called The Wedge. Its a place where crazy .....  err, I mean very good body boarders and surfers go for some awesome waves while being only a foot above the sand on the water. An incredible experience that one must see, even if you don't like us spongers.

Special thanks to the Joker for the excellent idea. I'll go down at night next time like you suggested.

Venice, The Menace, Part 2. Moar?!

Welcome back all to Part 2 of my epic journey to the heart of Venice Beach. Most of Part 1 was made to show off some awesome colors and the work of some ridiculously talented artists. Part 2 is to show off some of the landscapes and buildings from the trip there and the surrounding area.

I guess I was too lazy, or it was very difficult to actually map out the locations of my vantage points. So, There isn't a map this week.

Let me know what you think
