Venice, The Menace, Part 2. Moar?!

Welcome back all to Part 2 of my epic journey to the heart of Venice Beach. Most of Part 1 was made to show off some awesome colors and the work of some ridiculously talented artists. Part 2 is to show off some of the landscapes and buildings from the trip there and the surrounding area.

I guess I was too lazy, or it was very difficult to actually map out the locations of my vantage points. So, There isn't a map this week.

Let me know what you think

That's the Venice I remember! Very nice set... the wave breaking on the rocks looks awesome, but my favorite is the one below it. The police substation one is cool, too, since it captures perfectly the wacky architecture you see on SoCal beaches...

I probably should have broken this one into two separates. The first half was from Culver City when I was walking from the train to get on the bus going to the beach.

They have some incredible design firms for what seems to be a really bad neighborhood. Almost got robbed at picture number 8. Thankfully somebody drove by at that moment and the guy sped away before getting out of his car.

Venice has some ridiculous architecture that I surely cannot explain. Wonderful and exciting to look at. o.0
Incredible set! You found some amazing angles and shapes out there. Thanks for sharing man, after all the violence I needed some pretty pictures to look at. I really like the wave break and the wiggly skate spot.

Thanks alot. I'm still trying to figure out how I keep finding great angles. I do know I move around alot to find them. The one with the skater I waited like 10 minutes for so maybe I'm patient too. :-)

I was in long beach on saturday and I took a picture of this nice looking restaurant with my really crappy phone camera and it came out awesome. I just saw that image on a postcard and took the shot.
Patience is probably it. That cool sunflower pic I took a while back... I took it 4 different times in order to get what I wanted. So I will have to say patience and finding your spot does it.

That sunflower pic was pretty awesome.

I never knew I had patience until I started taking real pictures, but now I'm actually starting to see postcards in front of what I take pictures of, which is weird in itself. A very hard skill to develop from what I hear.
