I am always curious about the time of day/lighting when you post most Lubitel shots. Having done black/white photography I KNOW how much you can play with the appearance of darks vs. whites.

So it seems we may be heading down to Anaheim in June. I get to play step-mom for the summer it seems... maybe longer?

ya know, I should keep track of the time of day I take my pictures. this one in particular was shot between 2 and 4 PM. One of the reasons I stick with the type of film I use is because It has a ridiculously huge range of contrast if I wanted to boost the ISO for effect. though sunlight does play an important role as well. Also, I can throw on a filter that'll change a bright sky into a nightish looking sky. Can't really do the same with digital. Plus you lose half of your tones when converting from color to black and white.

Suh-weet!!! I'd love to hang out with you guys when you're down.
