The Greatest City in the World Part 2

Here's Part 2 from my five day trip to New York. These are all mixed up from different days and don't really follow a specific order.

Times Square, Broadway and 6th Ave

Central Park, Near 5th Ave and 59th St

Central Park

Washington Sq Park, 5th Avenue and Washington Sq North

Enjoying a nice Sarachi Ace at the Brooklyn Brewery. The circles are tokens to get more beer.

Rockefeller Center

Skyline from the Brooklyn Bridge. That Freedom Tower looks more bad ass when you're standing next to it.

Flushing Meadows Corona Park

Brooklyn Bridge

Nice. You took a set of photos to make New York look how it should: impressive. I especially like the last shot of Brooklyn Bridge.

The story behind those stones at Rock Center?

Was walking to the Nintendo store a block over and I saw the security guard standing by the rock sculptures. It seemed kinda funny and interesting looking to me that he chose that spot in general. There were several of those in front of the building and i have no idea what they were there for.

It took a bit to take that shot because of all the people walking around. I have a similar one from the nine eleven memorial
It would be interesting to know what wall they came from. Maybe the reality is way less interesting than my imagination

Tell me about it. I felt so bummed that it was just a foreign artist. Woulda been cool if they were unearthed from Machu Pichu or something....
Their lying...it's pyramid stones stolen from Egypt in a big public/secret fuck you to them...I watched National Treasure too many times?
Now that you mention it, one of those stones does look like the missing nose from the sphinx. I can just picture it right now. 20 ninjas came in the middle of the night and took em.
3, 8 and 9 I really like. I am not a fan of NY, or rather... I have never been and not much makes me want to go there. I wouldn't mind being a 'leafer' during autumn upstate NY though. As for the city, my sister has been several times and loves it. She is a quiet, mousey, shy person here at home. That city breathes life into her. I don't think I need to be any more "live" than I already am.

Really love the alien crying face in shot 3.

I felt the same way about Chicago, and when I went I couldn't get enough! I found a great bar that you would very much enjoy. IDK what it is about that city, but I think it brings the extrovert out of us quiet and shy people. Most definitely an interesting and different experience
