San Pedro

I took a drive down to San Pedro to go on a quest a few weeks ago. I was looking for the Korean Bell of Friendship. I had seen pictures of it on the internet and I think I've seen it in some movies and TV shows like VR Troopers and The Usual Suspects. I drove around to a couple of other locations in the area to take in some of the wonderful work that has been done to the area over the last decade.

Thanks for stopping by. If anybody has any suggestions on locations in Southern California for me to check out, drop me a line in the comments section below or at hardkoretom@gmail.com. Thanks!

The shot of the flowers/plants right before the temple shots is a beauty... Could enter that one in a contest, I think.
My recent post The Truth Shall Make You Free
Thanks alot, man. This one was, most definitely, my best shoot of the summer. I wish I had a better camera so I could blow up the picture of the butterfly. Bastards kept taking off every time I went to hit the shutter release. I'll give some serious thought about entering into a contest. Hopefully there is some good one going on soon.
You did a great job with this set! For as simple as it may appear; the leaf with the water beads is beautiful. I wonder what those pokey balls are though.
My recent post I found Sarah Silverman's long lost sister!

Those pokey balls were on a plant sitting in front of the storm drain pictured in #8 with all the graffiti. It was actually fairly creepy walking down there since you have no idea who is down there already.

The leaf one was pretty amazing. I saw it on the grass and saw the picture in my head straight away.
Phew! Love #1 and 6. 6 is really cool! WHere is that??

Both of those were taken from the area of the port where the cruise ships dock here in LA. The place actually looks really nice. It must have been remodeled recently.
