Las Vegas Part 1

A few weeks back, I drove up to Las Vegas to attend the tv taping for one of my top interests ever, Monday Night Raw. This trip was quite different than my last visit in 2011 where my camera broke almost before I had a chance to use it. These pictures don't follow a specific order, they were just pulled from the pool at random. I have a second half because going from 150 images down to just 20 is really hard. It was hard enough to get it down to 38. Part 2 will drop on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I love the first shot! And my second fave is the giant bee.
Not really a fan of Vegas myself but you got some really good shots.

Wow, you picked the two pictures that I was very iffy on including. I'm a fairly boring Vegas person. If I do gamble, I rarely spend more than 20 bucks. In fact, I have a $5 poker chip from the Hard Rock that I jacked from my buddy. I do enjoy eating in vegas. well I did until my favorite buffet at the Sahara was closed along with the hotel. :-(
Ah yes the food in Vegas. The selection is pretty good when it comes to food, too bad I am not a hefty eater. Buffet's are ruined on people like me. I eat several small meals instead of large meals. The last time I was in Vegas was in 2002 or 2003, a LONG time ago.

I'm a fairly light eater as well, but I kind of went for the food they had there as opposed to eating a ton. At most I would go for 3 trips, but most of the time it was just 2 trips.

Jeez, thats a long time ago. How long does it take for you to drive there from up north?
It's roughly a 7ish hour drive depending on which route I take. Generally folks round these parts cut across on the 166 towards Tehachapi, it's a tedious drive. But our local airport here offers cheap ass flights to Vegas too.

wow, that drive really sucks. I was almost thinking about flying there. You'd expect LA to have cheap flights to vegas but the cheapest one was over 100 bucks one way. Uhh, no. I'll risk my car breaking down for 200 extra bucks in my pocket.
Ah, a town I know very well. I love the first shot as well. I've got some pretty decent shots of Vegas I took with my Nikon, especially of Bellagio.

I'm a degenerate poker player, though, so most of my time in Sin City is spent shoveling chips into the pot and crossing my fingers...

This was the first time I went to the Bellagio even though its been around for at least a decade. Most of these hotels are just too well designed to even describe what type of feelings I have for them.

I always want to roll the dice and hit up some of the tables, its just that I'm too big of a wuss to even contemplate losing that much change in such a small amount of time. Were you a pro poker player at some point?

Thanks for the complements yo!
I go back to playing poker full-time every couple of years, but I wouldn't call myself a pro. I'm able to generate an income from it over relatively short periods of time, but I get bored and move on. A real pro makes a living doing it year in and year out...

Thats cool that you can do that though. I think the worst part about being a pro is that you have to sit there for 8 hours straight and can't go to the bathroom , eat or anything.

I wish I was good at gambling sometimes sounds like it would be a fun time.
I really liket he first couple shots: nature shots. The chandeliers at the end are really great, too. :)

I had at least 10 more nature shots. There were a ton of incredible cloud formations that day. It had just rained in the area and they were lingering. Thanks alot man! :-)
