Downtown: Fullerton Part 1

Wow, this was a really busy week. I took three trips to Downtown Fullerton to collect all of these shots. I have 30 total. So, I split them up into two slideshows. I started off by the Amtrak/Metrolink station, worked my way to city hall, back on over to Harbor Blvd and back to my car.

If you're interested in where these places are, I mapped out where the pictures were taken here.

To view my previous pictures Click Here Part 2 will be out on Tuesday

Yeah, I tend to go a little overboard on the colors. I love them richer and brighter. Whats good about looking at pictures is that you don't have to be an expert to see them, like them and how to interpret them. ;-)

I'm glad you liked them, and thank you very much for the comments!
The blue skies look amazing. That police sign is almost comical.

The sky didn't look like that when I took them. It was all hazy and dull looking.

That police sign really is, because where its placed you can see they have "Police Department" on the wall. But I guess redundancy is not bad to have. This way to the tank mr drunk man. :-)
Fox Theater! Woh~ Old timey!

Nice set! :)

You be watching Japanese TV from the States then, eh?

That Fox theater is in the process of remodeling. I have another picture I took before they started painting where they had old movie poster murals. The one I shot was a Gone With the Wind and it looked incredible.

Oh yeah, I love watching japanese tv. I mainly watch during the sumo tournament, but there are a few shows I catch here and there. I also get NHK World locally so I watch that quite a bit too.

Thanks for the compliments :-)
The blue sky looks awesome. And I really like the window with the bent frame work.

I took a walk on the dark side for this set. Well, it was still light out, but you know what I mean. There were many of those abandoned or run down warehouse buildings. I love the dilapidated look of them.
Great pics. Nice sense of calm to them :)

Did you do the slide show through blogger or use another program? I've never seen it before.
Blogger has a slideshow? Oo, I didn't even check out what's free. I made them with a site called smugmug. They are kind of a mixture of Deviantart and Flickr. I can sell photos and people can view them all in one easy place.

I was using flickr, but I hit my max images for the free account and wasn't really enjoying the service over there. You get what you pay for right?

Thanks for the compliments and the comments :-)
